Girls, treat your guy right, they deserve to be the ones in the limelight once in a while.
Everyone goes on about how guys should treat their girls right. For once i think it would be real nice for girls to start giving and for guys to take a step back and enjoy.

Girls, guys aren't the hardest of people to please. We're so straight forward with our emotions that its easy for you to tell that you're doing something right. Just as he places you at the center of his world, you would do well by making him center of yours. He should be the first person you wanna tell any news to, not your best friend and certainly not the other girls you hang out with. Cause whether its good or bad he is gonna be the person who will be the happiest for you when its good and the person who will be there to wipe your tears and hug you when its not. He will treat you like a queen, go through a dozen websites to find that perfect recipe for the cookies you love or that pasta you have been craving for. And when he does, give him all the thanks you have but please don't forget that he is after all your king and a reciprocal gesture would be absolutely lovely.

Girls, guys are bound to make mistakes, everyone makes mistakes. And when he does please don't torture him by telling him its fine and expecting him to rack his brains and lose sleep just trying to understand what he did wrong. The world has already set in concrete that guys/girls will never ever understand girls, hence the Mars and Venus analogy. So spare your poor martian the torture and just tell him straight what he did wrong. I promise you a great boyfriend would go all out to make you feel better and not repeat the same mistake. Compared to how useless it would be by leaving him to his own devices and getting really annoyed trying to figure it out, the first suggestion increases your chances of a awesome sorry gift.

Girls, don't always compare him to the perfect guys you see on TV shows, those guys aren't the ones opening the doors for you, they aren't the ones giving up their jacket to you in the cold movie theatre, they aren't the ones flying to your rescue when a bug or lizard appears in your room. Appreciate all the small things he does for you and never take him for granted. Be vocal about it, tell all your friends how awesome he is for always knowing how you like your popcorn or how he stays awake on the long bus rides while you sleep just so that you won't miss your stop. Show him off at family gatherings as the guy who completes you. Go all out to make his bros your close friends so that everyone can hang out together and that he never has to make the tough choice between you and his bros.

If you haven't absorbed much of anything I've said so far, just remember to treat him exactly how you would want him to treat you, love him for who he is and guide him along when he makes his mistakes. If you don't, you'd kill yourself for not putting in the extra effort to keep him by your side when you could have.


I promise you, that no matter what happen, if you don't give up on me, I will never, ever leave your side. I love you dear... Happy 13th sayang
